  The pizza is cooked in brick oven. Had a pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was great.

  Ok so it's in an airport terminal and you're immediate thinking "3 stars" tops. So the bar is low...and Nonna's doesn't disappoint.
  
  The Caesar salad was ordinary and not bad. Just ordinary. The Grey Goose was great, however buyer beware, it's $18 a pour.
  
  All that said, 3 stars!  Service though...not good and borderline angry. It's an airport, I get it, and still it cost a Star.

  This restaurant was what you'd expect for an airport restaurant in terms of atmosphere. It's open with a lot of tables, Italian music playing in the background. There's a view into the kitchen which I think is always fun to watch.
  
  I ordered the 10" margarita pizza and the garlic bread appetizer. The crust on the pizza was thin, but it was soft and flimsy. There was more sauce than cheese on top, and a lot of basil. It was $11.99, which is average for airport pizza. It had good flavor, but I wish it wasn't as flimsy, as the pizza would flop down and the toppings would slide off when I picked it up. The garlic bread tasted like bread you'd buy from the freezer, lacking in freshness and flavor. It was $6.50. The sauce to dip the bread in was disappointing and lacked in flavor.
  
  The service was mediocre. My waitress didn't check in on refills or ask how the meal was. I asked the bread to come out first, but I got the pizza first. However, it was fast, which is nice when you're trying to catch a flight.
  
  Overall, I'd say I wouldn't come back if this were a restaurant outside of a small airport. However, this is, in my opinion, the best option for what is available in this terminal.

  This is the second time I've popped in here while flying out of MKE. Located in D concourse, it is maybe one of the only non-chain restaurants with a bar on this side of the terminal. Service is usually good - quite friendly - and tonight was no exception.  I haven't been too excited about my food choices though, especially given the $$. Today Calamari and a prosecco ran me $30+, and sadly I found the calamari quite bland, although from reading the description on the menu it sounded like there would be a little flavor. On my last visit I had grilled salmon on a bed of sauteed spinach and potatoes and also thought the salmon was bland (cooked well, good texture, but bland). And then potatoes were a little soft. Good place for drinks at airport but for the price I can hope for  more tasty dishes.

  There's not many choices at the MKE airport in the concourse where I normally take off, so I appreciate that this one is actually a good choice. They can get very busy, but they're good about keeping service moving without being pushy. The service staff are adorably nice: my young server was so excited about the soup that she said, "Oh, dude! It's amazing!" followed immediately by, "oh I'm so sorry, that was really rude to say that!" I thought she was charming in her enthusiasm. And the soup was really good. Prices were modest, especially for an airport. I would go back.
